Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support their learning development
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working in a multicultural school environment
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis in a school setting. The teacher will be required to work collaboratively with other staff members and engage with students, parents, and external stakeholders.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
