We are currently welcoming applications for an IQA Teacher to join our Voluntary Controlled Islamic Primary School on a part-time basis to provide maternity cover. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the spiritual and academic journey of our pupils, supporting their understanding of Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies in a nurturing and respectful environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about Islamic education and confident in delivering Quranic, Arabic, and Islamic Studies across the primary age range.
You will:
- Have experience delivering Quran and Arabic across EYFS to KS2
- Be confident in classroom teaching and one-to-one instruction
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Islamic, Quranic and Arabic curriculum and assessment
- Work effectively with other members of the IQA teaching team
- Uphold the Islamic ethos of the school and model positive values for our children
About the Role
You’ll be teaching a mix of whole class and 1:1 sessions, helping children connect deeply with their faith, language, and values while making good academic progress. You’ll play a key role in fostering a respectful, inclusive environment where children can thrive both spiritually and academically.
This role is ideal for an unqualified teacher with the knowledge, passion, and commitment to Islamic education and who is ready to make a difference, even without QTS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
