We’re looking for a confident, compassionate Inclusion Support Officer to join our dedicated Pastoral and Inclusion team.

Working closely with the Vice Principal for Inclusion, you’ll help maintain a calm, safe, and supportive school environment—both in and out of the classroom. From supervising students and managing behaviour to wellbeing check-ins and supporting our Learning Support Centre, no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support students’ wellbeing and behaviour across the school

  • Supervise during breaktimes, changeovers, and after-school detentions

  • Act as Inclusion Coordinator when needed

  • Provide cover in our Learning Support Centre

  • Patrol the school grounds and surrounding area as a Student Marshall

  • Respond swiftly to incidents and support safeguarding policies

  • Be part of the school’s First Aid, Fire and Lockdown response teams

 

 Essentials:

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and Maths
  • Previous experience of working with young people in an educational environment is preferred. 
  • Outstanding record of attendance and punctuality

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
