We’re looking for a kind, patient, and proactive Inclusion Support Assistant to work across welcoming primary schools in Lewisham. In this role, you’ll be supporting pupils who need a little extra help to thrive—whether that’s with SEND, EAL, emotional regulation, or confidence in learning.

It’s about helping every pupil feel seen, heard, and included in every part of school life.

What your role might involve:

  • 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs

  • Encouraging confidence, focus, and engagement in class

  • Helping pupils navigate routines, friendships, and transitions

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and families

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with children (school-based or community experience welcome!)

  • A warm, encouraging approach and great communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to different pupils’ needs with empathy and energy

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or we’ll help you apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
