We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in South Tyneside that supports children with a wide range of additional needs. They’re seeking a confident and proactive HLTA to join their team this September, someone ready to lead small groups, cover lessons, and bring creativity to the classroom.

Your role will include:

Delivering lessons and interventions planned by the teacher

Leading small groups and covering classes where needed

Supporting children with SEND to achieve their personal and academic goals

Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to provide consistent care
What we’re looking for:

HLTA status or significant TA experience with the ability to lead learning
-
Experience working with children with SEND (autism, SEMH, or complex needs desirable)
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
