Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We’re looking for a dedicated HLTA to join our dynamic team and support our mission to provide every student with the tools and confidence to succeed.

About the Role:

As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You’ll be confident in delivering pre-prepared lessons, leading small group interventions, and working alongside teachers to raise achievement and improve outcomes for all pupils.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher
  • Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEN and EAL needs
  • Deliver targeted interventions to boost literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to plan and assess learning
  • Provide high-quality pastoral support and help manage classroom behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

  • HLTA status (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working across KS1/KS2/KS3/KS4 (tailor as appropriate)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and strong behaviour management strategies
  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
