Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEND Focus

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups—building trust, encouraging engagement, and helping every student feel safe and supported.
- Applying your academic knowledge to real-life classroom challenges.
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to support learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Helping pupils with autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs access learning in a way that works for them.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in SEND, Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
- Some experience working with children or young people (volunteering, mentoring, youth work all count!).
- A patient, consistent, and empathetic approach—you’re someone who stays steady when things get tough.
- A genuine interest in making a difference to children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
