Protocol Education is supporting a secondary school in West London to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant.

About the Role

  • Support learning for students through structured academic interventions and one-to-one or small group teaching

  • Assist pupils with special educational needs, including English as an additional language, social-emotional development, and academic skills across core subjects

  • Deliver sessions to support reading, writing, maths, and other areas of student development

  • Contribute to enrichment activities, homework clubs, and school events, including trips, performances, and extracurricular programs

  • Monitor and record pupil progress, supporting teachers and leadership with data collection and intervention tracking

  • Create a positive, calm, and orderly learning environment, promoting high academic and behavioural expectations

  • Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure tailored support for individual students

  • Uphold safeguarding standards and actively promote the safety and welfare of all pupils


Role Details

  • Location: West London

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent, term-time only

  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Salary: £22,515–£27,272 depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
