Graduate Learning Support Assistant – September 2025 Start

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic graduates from all disciplines to work as Learning Support Assistants within a large and inclusive secondary school in Newcastle from September 2025.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students with additional needs

  • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and maintaining an inclusive learning environment

  • Support students’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development

  • Contribute to a positive, respectful school culture that values all learners

  • Contract: Initially employed by Protocol Education, with the potential to transition to a permanent school contract after a qualifying period

  • Experience: No previous school-based experience required; full training and induction provided
