What you will be doing:
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Working closely with individual children or small groups, offering targeted support to those who need it most.
- Helping children develop their communication, social, and fine motor skills through creative play and hands-on activities.
- Creating a safe, encouraging space where every child feels valued and included.
- Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 16:00
- Start date: September 2025
About you:
- Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a passion for working with children.
- Patient, caring, and ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
- Great communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children.
- Willing to get stuck in, learn on the job, and bring energy to every day.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
