Our client, an ambitious secondary school within a respected academy trust, is seeking a committed Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner determined to raise attainment and foster a deep appreciation for Geography.
About the Role:

Deliver engaging, challenging Geography lessons that motivate and inspire students across all key stages.

Set high expectations for progress and achievement, ensuring all pupils are supported to reach their potential.

Plan and teach well-structured lessons that embed knowledge, develop skills, and build intellectual curiosity.

Provide students with constructive feedback to support their continued improvement.

Create a positive climate for learning by applying lesson routines and behaviour systems consistently and fairly.

Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment design, and exam preparation.

Lead enrichment activities, trips, and competitions to enhance students’ learning experiences.

Share best practice within the department and take an active role in CPD and professional collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.

A degree in Geography or a closely related discipline.

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.

Evidence of excellent teaching practice and a track record of raising attainment.

Experience of supporting students through curriculum planning and examination preparation.

Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.

A genuine passion for education and belief in the potential of every pupil.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
