Be the extra pair of hands every Year 2 teacher needs
A primary school in Benewell is looking for a friendly, adaptable Classroom Assistant to join their Year 2 team. This is a full-time, long-term role where you’ll be right at the heart of the classroom – helping lessons run smoothly and supporting children to do their very best.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom organisation

  • Helping pupils with their work, either 1:1 or in small groups

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and keeping pupils engaged

  • Preparing resources and assisting with displays

  • Joining in with the day-to-day life of the school – from assemblies to playground duty

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children (school-based or otherwise)

  • Can bring energy, patience, and a positive attitude every day

  • Works well in a team and can take initiative when needed

  • Enjoys getting involved and making a difference
