Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students in the classroom
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help
  • Help create educational materials and resources for lessons
  • Supervise students during break times and outings
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs of students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
