Job Duties:

The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the classroom, assist with lesson preparation, provide one-to-one support to students, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs in English and Maths, with a passion for education and a desire to work with young people.

Education:

Minimum of GCSE level qualifications

Experience:

No previous experience required, but any experience working with children or in an educational setting is beneficial.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in Education or Child Development would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times. The Teaching Assistant may need to work with students from diverse backgrounds and adapt to different learning styles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
