Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Where Patience Meets Purpose
Location: Bromley
Start Date: September 2025

You’re not just in the classroom. You’re in their corner.

We’re looking for a compassionate and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing school, supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning, feel seen, and thrive—on their own terms.

This role is ideal if you’ve worked in SEND before or have experience supporting children who need a little extra help navigating school life.

What you’ll be doing:
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with ASD, ADHD or communication needs
Supporting sensory, emotional and social needs with care and consistency
Helping pupils engage with lessons, build routines, and feel proud of progress
Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and sometimes external therapists
Using structured strategies like visual timetables, sensory breaks and social stories

You’ll be great for this role if you have:
✅ Experience working with children with SEND (in or out of schools)
✅ A calm, positive, and patient approach
✅ Strong communication skills and an eye for subtle progress
✅ A genuine desire to help children feel safe and successful

Thrive trained? Brilliant. If not, we’ll fund it through our free CPD Academy.

What you get from Protocol Education:
Weekly pay through PAYE (no umbrella costs)
FREE access to our CPD Academy—over 50 specialist training courses
