Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich
Start Date: September 2025
Teenagers. Tests. TikTok. You handle it all with ease.
We’re looking for a switched-on, supportive Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a brilliant school this September. You’ll be the calm, dependable presence that helps students stay focused, stay motivated—and occasionally stay off their phones.
This role’s ideal for someone who gets what secondary students need: clear guidance, genuine support, and someone who doesn’t talk down to them.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting students across KS3 and KS4—both in and out of lessons
Working 1:1 and in small groups to boost engagement and confidence
Assisting with literacy, numeracy, or subject-specific interventions
Liaising with teachers and SENCOs to tailor support
Creating a positive space where pupils feel heard, safe and ready to learn
We’d love to hear from you if you:
✅ Have experience in secondary settings or with young people (school, youth work, mentoring—all counts!)
✅ Can manage behaviour with calm authority and kindness
✅ Are confident across a range of subjects—or willing to give it a go!
✅ Have a sense of humour and the patience of a saint (or close enough)
