Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across various age groups
  • Ensure classroom management and discipline are maintained at all times
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create your own when necessary
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development

Required Qualifications:

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher in the UK

Working Conditions:

  • Work in various schools within the Romford area
  • Flexible working hours based on school requirements
  • Potential for short notice assignments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
