Protocol Education is working with friendly and supportive primary schools in Walton-On-Thames, and they’re on the lookout for Teaching Assistants to join their EYFS and KS1 teams. From phonics to first number skills, you’ll help children build the foundations they need to flourish.
Big bonus if you’ve got SEN experience – your skills will be especially valued in supporting children with additional needs, helping them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing

Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils

Helping children with routines, play-based learning, and confidence building

Assisting with behaviour support, classroom organisation, and safeguarding

Making sure every child feels included and ready to shine

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children (school or similar setting)

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

Understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support

SEN experience (autism, ADHD, SEMH, EHCPs) – highly desirable

TA qualification, Thrive training, or First Aid (bonus but not essential)
