A nurturing primary school in Wakefield is looking for a compassionate EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with additional needs. This full-time role is ideal for someone who understands how to bring calm to the chaos and joy to the everyday.
What the role involves:

Supporting a child with SEND in Reception—think routine-building, encouragement, and gentle guidance

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and therapists

✏️ Helping with communication, sensory needs, and social development

Encouraging confidence and celebrating small wins daily
