We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a school that caters to pupils aged 7 to 18 with a wide range of abilities and complex learning needs.
About the Role:
As a key member of our support team, you will:
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils’ learning and development.
- Provide tailored support to students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and more complex conditions.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.
- behaviour support where necessary.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
- Experienced (or keen to gain experience) in working with children or young people with SEN.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Ongoing CPD opportunities will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
