Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time
Do you have solid experience supporting pupils with additional needs? We’re working with several SEN schools in Epping Forest who are looking for skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their teams long-term.
You’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to help children access learning in a personalised, supportive way.
Your role:

Support children with EHCPs and complex needs (e.g. autism, global developmental delay, sensory processing challenges)

Implement learning programmes tailored to individual needs

Use visuals, PECS, Makaton or other communication tools (training provided if needed)

Foster consistency, structure and calm in the classroom
You’ll need:

Proven SEN support experience (mainstream or specialist setting)

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

A genuine passion for inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
