Are you an experienced teacher with the patience, resilience, and creativity to support pupils with SEMH needs?

We’re working with a specialist provision where relationships, respect, and emotional wellbeing come first. It’s a place that champions small victories, builds confidence, and helps young people re-engage with learning in a safe, supportive environment.

They’re looking for a SEMH Teacher who can bring both classroom expertise and a nurturing approach to teaching.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEMH needs

  • Using positive behaviour strategies to create calm, structured learning spaces

  • Working closely with therapists, TAs, and pastoral staff to ensure joined-up support

  • Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of achievement beyond academics

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH

  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

  • A flexible, creative approach to teaching that puts relationships first

  • Empathy, resilience, and the ability to celebrate progress in all its forms
