We’re proud to be working with Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust, a family of respected secondary schools across the West Midlands, committed to academic excellence and student wellbeing.  Right now, they’re looking for dynamic, driven English Teachers to help students become confident readers, writers, and thinkers.

Whether you love dissecting Dickens or debating dystopias, this is your chance to shape futures through the power of language.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Preparing students for GCSE English Language and Literature exams
  • Supporting literacy development across the curriculum
  • Taking part in department planning, CPD, and whole-school initiatives
  • Opportunities to lead on curriculum strands, enrichment, or interventions

What makes this trust stand out?

  • Collaborative departments and strong mentoring for new staff
  • Established behaviour policies and pastoral systems that let you focus on teaching
  • High expectations and low drama—schools that value consistency and clarity
  • Pathways into middle leadership for those who want to step up

We’re looking for:

  • Qualified English Teachers (QTS/QTLS)
  • Passionate educators with excellent subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching at KS3/4, including exam prep
  • A confident classroom presence and a genuine love for literature and language

In return, you’ll get:

  • Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella deductions)
  • FREE CPD including the Thrive Approach
  • Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
