Salary: £120–£210 per day (depending on experience)

We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in South Shields that’s on the hunt for a passionate English Teacher to join their KS3 and KS4 team this September. It’s a school that values creativity, champions student voice, and actually gives teachers the room to teach.
The role includes:

Teaching English across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

Supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEND

Contributing to a supportive and collaborative department
What we’re looking for:

UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

Recent classroom experience teaching English

A confident, inspiring teaching style
-
Strong behaviour management and a good sense of humour (always helps!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
