About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging English lessons for KS4. You’ll play a key role in supporting student achievement, literacy development, and a love of literature. The role includes planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues to share best practice and develop innovative and creative teaching strategies.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – Essential
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
  • Experience teaching English at KS4
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative and effective lessons
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
  • ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply!
