We’re looking for a brilliant English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Newcastle this September. You’ll be delivering engaging, meaningful lessons that help students find their voice—whether they’re dissecting Shakespeare or smashing their GCSEs.
What the role involves:

Teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4 (A-Level experience a plus)

Encouraging analytical thinking, creativity, and strong written expression

Supporting pupils of all abilities to meet and exceed expectations

Being part of a collaborative department with shared resources and planning
We’re after someone who:

Holds UK QTS and has experience teaching English in a secondary setting

Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for language and literature

Creates inclusive, engaging lessons that get students talking and thinking

Can handle a last-minute poetry recital (or at least pretend to enjoy one)
