Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a strong subject knowledge and a commitment to helping students achieve their best in English Language and Literature.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
  • Support students with varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Is confident in managing classroom behaviour and motivating students
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is passionate about inspiring young people to enjoy and achieve in English
