The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school based in Dudley. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire and support students aged 11–18, in a setting that places individual wellbeing and potential at the heart of everything it does.
The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Support students' academic and personal development through a therapeutic and nurturing approach
- Promote a positive learning environment where every student feels supported and valued
- Manage classroom behaviour with empathy, understanding, and clear strategies
Candidates with primary training or experience with SEMH/SEN are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Proven experience teaching English within a school setting
- Ability to manage and support students with challenging behaviour
- Resilient, adaptable, empathetic, and nurturing in your approach
- Passionate about supporting students as individuals
