Location: Greenwich, London
Working Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Status: Full-time, 5 days a week
Salary: £750-£1000 per week

The English Department provides an excellent level of teaching and learning to the pupils within a supportive and friendly environment. The department has well-established schemes of work and innovative resources which are shared within the team. They are looking for a creative and enthusiastic English Teacher with a passion for their subject and a commitment to raising standards for all learners.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to academic excellence and deliver high quality lessons and be committed to achieving excellent results for students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.
What a typical day to day will look like?
Planning lessons: The teacher will spend time preparing lesson plans, selecting appropriate materials, and designing activities to engage students in learning English language and literature.
Teaching classes: They will deliver lessons to students, covering various aspects of English language skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This may involve using different teaching methods, techniques, and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
Assessing student progress: The teacher will evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, quizzes, and projects. They will provide feedback and grades to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Communicating with parents: Teachers maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, address concerns, and provide updates on classroom activities. This may involve parent-teacher conferences, emails, or phone calls.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
