You in the role:

  • Have a strong knowledge of English curriculum at KS2.
  • Communicate and work effectively within your department and leadership team to ensure that underachievement is addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Marking regularly in line with department policy and give feedback that stimulates improved learning.
  • Can plan and deliver inclusive curriculum content and deliver excellent outcomes for all learners.
  • Adhere to school behaviour policy, including systems, routines, and duties.
  • Be able to inspire and motivate students – both in their learning and educating in how to be a respected member of their community.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Have a sense of humour.
  • Can work well under pressure. Have a genuine care and respect of all students, staff and colleagues including their wellbeing and own mental health.

Hours: 08:00 – 3:30pm.

Basis: Full Time (Part time will also be considered!)

Start date: Tuesday 3rd September 2024.
