We’re working with a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Newham that is looking to welcome a dedicated English Teacher to their staff team from September. This full-time, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who’s passionate about storytelling, skilled in classroom delivery, and committed to helping pupils develop confidence and creativity in their writing and communication.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4

Planning creative, curriculum-aligned lessons that motivate and inspire

Supporting students of varying abilities to make consistent academic progress

Contributing to the English department’s vision and development
-
Creating a classroom culture that’s inclusive, structured, and encouraging
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised qualification
✔ Experience teaching English in secondary schools (KS3 and KS4 required)
✔ Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management
✔ Passion for reading, writing, and communication
✔ A team-oriented approach and a genuine enthusiasm for education
