ECTs – Start September with Less Stress and More Support
Just finished your PGCE and not quite ready to dive headfirst into full class teacher life?
Breathe easy. You’re not alone and we’ve got roles that ease you in.
At Protocol Education, we help Early Career Teachers find flexible, balanced opportunities that let you build confidence, not burnout. Think teaching without the 60-hour weeks, weekend planning panic, or being left to “figure it out” solo.
What’s on offer?
-
Daily and short-term supply to get your feet under the table
-
Long-term roles without full class responsibility
-
ECT-friendly schools that offer real support, not just a staffroom nod
-
A chance to try different settings and find your best fit
✨ Why this might be just what you need:
-
You teach, we handle the logistics
-
You choose how often and where you work
-
We match you with schools that get what it’s like to be new
-
We’ll coach you through interviews and classroom jitters
Bonus? Many of our schools offer mentoring, co-teaching, and planning support—so you’re never on your own.
And if you’re not yet Thrive trained, we’ve got a free CPD course to boost your toolkit and make your CV stand out.
“Supportive schools that help you find your feet” isn’t just a line it’s what we do.
