Location: Enfield – Nurseries & Children’s Centres
Salary: £85–£100 per day (paid weekly via PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate

Protocol Education is working closely with a group of well-regarded nurseries and children’s centres across Enfield, who are currently seeking qualified and experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a long-term basis.

These roles offer an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a child’s development during their early years—helping to lay the foundations for learning, confidence, and well-being. 

The role will involve:

  • Supporting children aged 0–5 in daily routines including free play, structured learning, and personal care
  • Delivering and contributing to stimulating, EYFS-aligned activities that promote learning through play
  • Observing and recording progress to support child development assessments
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child’s unique needs

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent, recognised in the UK)
  • Recent experience in early years settings such as nurseries, children’s centres, or school-based EYFS units
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • A calm, nurturing, and professional approach with excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and follow individual learning and care plans
