Early Years Teaching Assistant

(Qualified Nursery Nurse within Primary School)

About the School/Role:

I am recruiting for 2 seperate schools, both based in Hucknall. who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join thier Early Years Department and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our young learners.

The successful educator will ideally have previous experience of working as a Nursery Assistant, hold a Level 3 Childcare Qualification, have good maths and literacy skills and be adaptable to change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and support to children aged 3+ within the Early Years Department.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement age-appropriate activities, lessons, and learning experiences.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that fosters children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Ensure the well-being of all children by monitoring and addressing their individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, offering regular communication and support.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of child development and early years educational best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A clear understanding of child safeguarding and safety procedures.
