Protocol Education is supporting a welcoming early years setting in North London to recruit a dedicated Early Childhood Educator.

About the Role:

  • Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare and safety of all children in your care

  • Create an enabling and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop

  • Build strong relationships with families, parents, and carers to support children’s learning journey

  • Keep accurate records, learning journals, and reports up to date and share progress with parents

  • Collaborate with colleagues, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure best practice

  • Contribute to team meetings, training, and the continuous improvement of provision

  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the nursery

  • Support mealtimes and care routines, ensuring they are safe, positive, and inclusive experiences

Role Details:

  • Location: North London

  • Contract: Permanent, full-time

  • Start Date: ASAP or negotiable for the right candidate

  • Salary: Competitive, with Real Living Wage minimum (£13.15/hour in London) and 11% employer pension contributions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, with confidence in acting appropriately when concerns arise

  • A reflective, creative, and enthusiastic practitioner who can bring energy to the role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to high-quality care
