Job Duties:

Assist in planning and delivering drama lessons

Support classroom management and student engagement

Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs

Assist in assessing student progress and providing feedback

Participate in extracurricular drama activities and school events

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a Drama-related degree

Experience working with children or young adults

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

Degree in Drama or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of drama techniques and practises

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles

Good organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience in working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

Work in a school environment under the guidance of qualified teachers

Full-Time hours with occasional requirement for after-school activities

Potential exposure to challenging behaviour and emotional situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
