Drama Cover Supervisor – Waltham Forest (Post-16 College)
Location: Waltham Forest, London
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing
Contract: Full-time or Part-time, Flexible
Pay: £95–£120 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Love drama, but not the last-minute chaos? We’re looking for a confident and engaging Cover Supervisor to step into the spotlight at a welcoming Post-16 College in Waltham Forest.
The Role
You’ll be leading drama sessions and supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Think of it as directing the performance rather than writing the script—keeping lessons on track, encouraging creativity, and making sure students stay engaged and supported.
Your day-to-day will include:
-
Supervising drama lessons and workshops across Post-16 groups
-
Encouraging participation, collaboration, and confidence in the classroom
-
Managing behaviour in a calm and positive way
-
Stepping into other subjects when needed (don’t worry, no expert knowledge required!)
About You
-
Experience working with young people (schools, clubs, workshops, tutoring, youth groups)
-
Confident communicator with strong presence in a classroom setting
-
A passion for drama and the performing arts
-
Flexible, reliable, and happy to adapt to different classes and situations
