Protocol Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Middlesbrough to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a passion for design, problem-solving, and practical learning to make a real impact.
Role Overview:

Deliver engaging and practical D&T lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

Cover a range of specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering

Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking

Ensure a safe and stimulating workshop/classroom environment
✅ Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Specialism or experience in D&T (Product Design, Engineering, etc.)
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students in creative, hands-on subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
