We’re looking for Criminology graduates to step into Teaching Assistant roles across secondary schools in Newcastle. These roles are all about making a difference—supporting students with their behaviour, helping them stay engaged in lessons, and creating positive learning environments.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with behaviour and learning in the classroom

Working with students 1:1 or in small groups to build confidence and focus

Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

Using your criminology knowledge to understand and support young people’s needs
What we’re looking for:

A Criminology graduate (or soon-to-be graduate)

Someone with patience, empathy, and resilience
-
An interest in supporting students who may have social, emotional, or behavioural needs
-
Experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, mentoring, or similar) is a bonus!
