Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Creative Teaching Assistant to join our team in Woolwich, Greater London. The successful candidate will work on a contract basis, with Full-Time hours expected. The primary focus of this role is to support teachers in delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students.
Job Duties:
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing creative educational activities
- Support students with their learning and development
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Previous experience working in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of educational principles and practises
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
This role will involve working in a classroom environment, supporting teachers and students throughout the school day. The candidate must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the educational setting and work collaboratively with the teaching staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
