Enhanced DBS on Update Service

Job Duties:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing creative lesson plans
  • Support students in their learning and development
  • Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed
  • Help create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for lessons
  • Supervise students during activities and break times

Required Qualifications:

  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience in a teaching assistant role preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a classroom setting with children and young people
  • Potential for occasional outdoor activities or field trips
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
