Protocol Education are currently working with various Primary schools across Greenwich  who are looking for creative Teaching Assistant's to join their school team. Once you are registered with us we have various opportunities to offer you depending on your availibility and your preferences. We can offer you long-term, short-term, daily supply roles. For the strongest candidates some posts may lead to a permanent position at the school with competitive salary. 

If you are an individual who enjoy working with children and support children in primary schools with their learning development and special needs with a creative background then we would love to provide you with opportunities in the Greenwich area. You will be able to use your creative skills applied to different students to help bring out their unique skills and personalities. If you have the below technical skills and have a creative background then this would be the post for you.

1. Have an arts and crafts, drama, dance or music background. 

2. PECS Therapy

3. Legotherapy 

4. Makaton

5. Sensory Play

6. Speech and Language therapy

7. Phonics 

8. Ability to deesclate challenging behaviour

Qualification: 

Although you do not require any specific quaification to be a creative TA, but if you have level2/ level 3 or in particular SEN qualification that would make your application stand out. However, a creative side of you can also add alot of support and impact on young children. 

About the school:

Various mainstream Primary school in Greenwich has a large proportion of students with additional needs including ADHD, EAL, Autism (ASD/ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Hearing Impairment (HI), Visual Impairment (VI), Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SpLD), Anxiety issues, selected mutism etc.  These are the children that would require additional support either 1:1 or in small groups. The school work closely with parents and outside agencies to make sure they are providing the best possible support to all of their students. The Senor Leadership Team are extremely passionate about promoting a healthy work-life balance and go to great lengths to ensure staff well-being is looked after.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
