Got a creative spark and a big heart? Let’s put both to work in a classroom.

We’re on the lookout for brilliant Learning Support Assistants to bring their creativity and compassion into schools across Bristol. Whether your thing is drama, art, music, dance, or just finding quirky ways to explain tricky topics, there’s a classroom waiting for your talents.

This isn’t just support work. You’ll be the calm in the storm, the high-five after a lightbulb moment, and the helping hand that turns a hard day into a win.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups

  • Bringing energy, creativity, and patience to every lesson

  • Helping create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to make learning work for everyone

You’ll be great at this if you:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (schools, youth work, creative arts, care—it's all relevant!)

  • Can think on your feet and bring good vibes to tricky moments

  • Are a brilliant communicator and team player

  • Know how to be both structured and spontaneous

Extra gold stars for:

  • Experience with SEND (especially autism, ADHD, or SEMH)

  • Thrive training (if you’re not trained yet, we’ll sort you out with our free online course!)
