We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in West Leeds who are on the lookout for confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams from September. This isn’t day-to-day—you’ll be based at one school, where you can build connections and become part of the team
What you’ll be doing:
Leading pre-set lessons in the absence of the usual teacher
Keeping the class calm, focused, and on track
Managing behaviour with confidence and fairness
Supporting students to stay engaged in learning
✏️ Feeding back to teachers and staff at the end of the day
What we’re looking for:
✔️ Experience working with young people—education, coaching, youth work all welcome
✔️ Strong communication and classroom presence
✔️ A flexible, ‘get stuck in’ attitude
✔️ Confidence to manage behaviour and keep lessons running smoothly
