Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools

Job Duties:
- Supervise students in the absence of regular teachers
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a conducive learning environment
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students' learning progress
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs at grades A*-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
- Experience working with children or young people
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs at grades A*-C in English and Mathematics
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Basic administrative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a secondary school setting, interacting with students and school staff on a daily basis. The work hours are full-time, following the school timetable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
