Cover Supervisor – Secondary Education
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Daily Rate: £90 – £110

Protocol Education is currently assisting a secondary school in Telford to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide classroom support on a flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or those with experience in education to gain valuable school-based experience while making a positive impact on students’ learning.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Support students in meeting lesson objectives during teacher absence.

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable).

  • Strong communication skills and confident classroom presence.

  • Good behaviour management strategies.

  • Flexibility to work at short notice.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
