A friendly Sheffield secondary school is looking for a confident, calm Cover Supervisor to join them on an ongoing supply basis. Whether you’re available full-time or a few days a week, this role gives you classroom time, variety, and the chance to support young people—without the long-term commitment.

What you’ll do:

  • Step into lessons when teachers are absent—no planning required

  • Deliver pre-prepared materials and keep pupils engaged and focused

  • Create a calm, respectful classroom atmosphere

  • Support students 1:1 or in small groups when needed

  • Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to keep learning on track

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
