Cover Supervisor – No Experience Needed
Ready to take your first step into education? Becoming a Cover Supervisor with Protocol Education gives you the chance to experience the classroom without the pressure of lesson planning or marking. You’ll be working in secondary schools across South Bristol and Somerset on a day-to-day or long-term basis, giving you complete flexibility to choose the days you work.
This is a role that opens doors: you’ll build positive relationships with schools in your area, gain valuable classroom experience, and create a network that can springboard you into teaching or other education careers. Whether you want variety from week to week or the consistency of longer-term placements, we’ll support you to shape the role around your lifestyle and ambitions.
The role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the teacher

Maintain a positive and focused learning environment

Encourage student engagement and participation

Support students with professionalism and care

Work collaboratively with school staff and follow routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
