We’re on the lookout for confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Telford.
If you’re looking to gain classroom experience before teacher training, or you simply enjoy working with young people, this flexible role could be just the ticket.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in when teachers are away to keep lessons running smoothly. That means:

Delivering pre-set work

Keeping behaviour calm and consistent

Helping pupils stay on task and engaged
-
Building positive relationships with students and staff
Everything’s provided for you—you just bring the confidence to guide the class and keep learning on track.
What you’ll be doing:

Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4

Managing behaviour in line with school policies
-
Supporting pupils, including those with additional needs
-
Using ready-made plans to deliver lessons smoothly
What we’re looking for:
-
Right to work in the UK (passport or BRP + share code)
-
An Overseas Police Check if you’ve lived abroad
-
Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, sports coaching etc.)
-
Confident communication and behaviour management skills
-
A calm, professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
