Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible role ASAP in a supportive and welcoming school? Have you recently graduated and looking for work in a secondary school? Do you specialise in subjects such as, Maths or science?
Protocol Education is seeking for a cover supervisor in a fantastic Secondary school in Leytonstone. Are you passionate, confident and adaptable? This is a great opportunity for you to gain classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career or if you enjoy working with young people in an educational setting. This opportunity offers a potential for a permanent position for the right candidate
About the role:
- Supervise lessons in the absence of a teacher using pre-prepared materials
- Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure students stay engaged with learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What we are looking for:
- Preferably experience with young people (tutoring, mentoring or coaching)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confident in manging behaviour and leading a class
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
